About this scholarship
The Maguire Foundation Endowed Scholarship provides $5,000 per year for up to eight consecutive semesters to incoming Widener first-year students graduating from a Maguire Foundation partner high school. Up to five recipients are selected annually. Applicants must hold at least a 3.0 GPA, actively participate in school, community, volunteer, or extracurricular activities, and demonstrate financial need on the FAFSA. Students submit the FAFSA listing Widener University and complete a separate Maguire Foundation Scholarship Application. Contact LaShanda Patton, Director of Civic Engagement, with questions. The award supports full-time undergraduate day students pursuing their first bachelor's degree at Widener.
