About this scholarship
Graduating seniors from Livingston Parish, Louisiana high schools who will enroll full-time at an accredited college or university may apply for the Madere-Jones Scholarship.
The award is $1,500 per semester for up to eight consecutive semesters, for a total of up to $12,000.
Submit a recent academic transcript, ACT or SAT score report, resume, FAFSA Student Aid Report, a letter of recommendation from a teacher or other non-parent adult, and an essay covering background, interests, and future plans.
The scholarship was established in 2020 for Livingston Parish graduates heading to college.
