Lumber Inspectors’ Benevolent Society Scholarship

Graduate students in the UBC Faculty of Forestry may receive this scholarship.

The award is $650, endowed by the Lumber Inspectors' Benevolent Society. Preference is given to a B.C. resident who is a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.

The award is made on Faculty recommendation. There is no separate student application.

The Pacific Lumber Inspection Bureau was organized in 1903 to provide impartial inspection of forest products under contract specifications.
