Women and non-binary persons enrolled or accepted in undergraduate or graduate study (or relevant coursework) related to ordination may apply for the Women's Ordination Conference Lucile Murray Durkin Scholarship. Primary focus is applicants pursuing priesthood with Ecumenical or Roman Catholic Women Priests; others seeking priestly ordination in other denominations are also considered.

Awards are $2,200 each. Multiple scholarships may be given; the number varies.

Submit a completed application with a 1,000-word essay, original artwork, video, or audio piece addressing call to ministry, vision for women and non-binary priests, gifts for ordained ministry, or plans to explore ordination or feminist ministry, plus two letters of recommendation from academic or spiritual mentors.

The award is endowed by the late Sheila Durkin Dierks and her family in honor of Lucile Murray Durkin's pioneering legacy.
