About this scholarship

Current or incoming members of the UBC Vancouver Thunderbirds Women's Rugby Team who display exemplary leadership, strong character, and dedication may be considered.

One or more awards may range from $500 each up to the maximum allowed under athletic association regulations, funded through an endowment from Peter Bull in recognition of Louise Cowin. Selection is made on the recommendation of the Women's Head Coach with review and approval by the Athletics Awards Committee; there is no separate application.

Louise Cowin served as Vice-President, Students and showed tremendous dedication and support for Thunderbirds Athletics.
