About this scholarship
Open to undergraduate students at UBC Vancouver proceeding to a B.A.Sc. in the Faculty of Applied Science. Selection is based on proficiency in studies, enthusiasm, initiative and leadership, health, and financial need, in that order. First preference goes to students entering the second year; if no second-year candidate qualifies, first-year students may be considered.
A scholarship of $1,450 is endowed by Mr. and Mrs. Henry L. Hill in memory of their son, Lorne Manning Hill.
Recipients are selected by Enrolment Services on the recommendation of the Faculty of Applied Science. There is no separate application.
