About this scholarship

The Loper Recognition Scholarship awards one thousand five hundred dollars per year toward tuition for first-time freshmen meeting UNK merit criteria. For Fall 2027 entry, admitted students with at least a 3.7 high school GPA and a 22 or 23 composite ACT are automatically reviewed. Applicants must be admitted to UNK with official high school transcripts and test scores on file by March 1. Offers are mailed during the first week of February. The scholarship renews for up to four years while recipients remain in good standing and enroll full time during fall and spring terms. GPA used for awards is based on the cumulative GPA at the end of the sixth semester of high school.
