Liu Ruo Xi Vocal Music Arts Center Award in Voice and Opera

Outstanding undergraduate Voice and Opera students at the UBC Vancouver School of Music who demonstrate exceptional vocal talent, community involvement, and leadership may be nominated.

The award is a $2,000 prize offered by the Liu Ruo Xi Vocal Music Arts Center. Recipients are chosen on the recommendation of the School of Music. There is no separate student application.

The Center is led by award-winning soprano Liu Ruo Xi and her husband Ye Hongtao, who hope the award will inspire students to explore traditional Chinese folk music.
