U.S. or Canadian citizens enrolled in a U.S. college, university, or trade school who lost a parent, guardian, grandparent, sibling, or spouse to alcohol, drug, or prescription drug abuse may apply for the Lisa Michelle Memorial Fund Scholarship. You need at least a 3.0 GPA, proof of enrollment, and death-certificate verification. Past recipients cannot reapply.
A $1,000 one-time award is offered.
Prepare an 800 to 1,500 word essay as a PDF and submit it with the completed application to info.thelmmfund@gmail.com. The fund supports students coping with the loss of a close family member to substance abuse.
