About this scholarship
The Lions 1st Scholars Award provides one thousand dollars per year to first-generation college students at Mount St. Joseph University who participate in the Lions 1st Scholars Community as first-year students or mentors. Applicants must submit a separate scholarship application by January 31. The program supports students who are the first in their families to attend college and builds community through peer mentoring at the Mount. Recipients must remain active in the Lions 1st Scholars Community and maintain full-time enrollment with satisfactory academic progress.
