Linda Marie Gillingwater Rainsberry Graduate Bursary

Master's or doctoral students enrolled in Dalhousie's Faculty of Graduate Studies who demonstrate financial need may apply. Preference goes to single mothers in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences whose research incorporates a social justice analysis or focuses on women's studies. Second preference goes to single mothers in any Dalhousie graduate program. Canadian and international students are eligible.

One bursary of at least $3,000 is awarded annually.

Apply through the Faculty of Graduate Studies scholarship platform by the October deadline. The bursary honours Linda Marie Gillingwater Rainsberry, a writer, educator, and television producer who knew firsthand the financial hardship of raising children as a single mother.
