About this scholarship
The Levitan Family Scholarships, established by Dr. Alexander Levitan '59 and Mrs. Lucy Levitan, provide full scholarship support to a cohort of international undergraduate students at Cornell University each year, currently supporting five students annually. Recipients must have attended secondary school outside the United States, be offered Cornell undergraduate admission, and require significant need-based financial aid. Scholars receive support for the duration of undergraduate study, including five-year programs, when requirements are met. Benefits include campus advisor mentorship, cohort gatherings, off-campus travel experiences, and financial support for research, study abroad, or summer internships through the Levitan Scholars Fund. Recipients maintain a 3.0 GPA, submit an annual update letter to donors, and may not take a leave of absence for two or more consecutive semesters.
