About this scholarship
Female Christian students with demonstrated financial need in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, or Virginia who attend participating accredited institutions may receive Lettie Pate Whitehead Foundation need-based scholarships through their college.
Individual award amounts vary and are set by each participating school. The foundation supports more than 12,000 students annually through grants to nearly 200 institutions, with emphasis on health-related fields.
Contact your school's financial aid office to apply. The foundation does not accept individual applications directly.
The Lettie Pate Whitehead Foundation has supported Christian women pursuing undergraduate education in the Southeast for decades.
