Leslie F. S. Upton Memorial Prize

Open to a third- or fourth-year UBC Vancouver student majoring in History, Medieval Studies, or International Relations with a history emphasis who writes the best essay in a competitive examination organized and adjudicated by the History Department.

The award is a $600 memorial prize for Professor Leslie F. S. Upton, endowed by his colleagues, former students, and family. No separate application beyond participating in the department examination.
