About this scholarship
For full-time or part-time students who meet Provincial Tuition Waiver Program eligibility (former youth in care in B.C.) and are enrolled below graduate level in a credential-leading program or course of at least 6 weeks or 35 tuition hours.
An annual $3,500 StudentAid BC grant per program year (August 1 to July 31) helps with education costs not covered by the tuition waiver, such as textbooks, computers, and supplies. Returning students submit a Learning for Future Grant Declaration through their institution's Financial Aid Office; first-time applicants submit the combined Provincial Tuition Waiver and Learning for Future Grant application through that office.
