About this scholarship
The Lawrence Stone and Shelby Cullom Davis Prize provides research fellowships to rising Princeton seniors for senior thesis projects in history. Award recipients receive a cash grant of up to six thousand dollars for use over summer break to support archival and library research. Students must have compiled an excellent record in departmental work and be recommended by a history faculty member with a detailed research plan and budget. Applications are submitted through the SAFE funding portal.
