University of New Mexico graduate students or upper-division undergraduates with at least a 3.2 GPA in English, literature, or a related language/literature degree may apply for the Larry Morris Memorial Scholarship. The award supports work on a project in mystical or spiritual literature, whether scholarly analysis, original creative work, or travel and research to promote further inquiry.
One annual award of up to $2,500 may be used from January through August.

The American Psychological Foundation's David H. and Beverly A. Barlow Grant awards $7,500 to support innovative basic or clinical research on anxiety and anxiety-related disorders, conducted by graduate students and early career researchers. Applicants must be graduate students or early career researchers no more than 10 years postdoctoral, be affiliated with a nonprofit charitable, educational, or scientific institution or a governmental entity operating for charitable and educational purposes, have demonstrated knowledge of basic or clinical anxiety research, and show competence and capacity to execute the proposed work.
