Open to outstanding graduate students at UBC Vancouver enrolled in the Master of Food and Resource Economics, Master of Food Science, Master of Land and Water Systems, or Master of Nutrition and Dietetics programs. Preference is given to students who demonstrate strong cohort leadership and the potential to advance knowledge and solutions in their fields.
Awards totalling $4,000 are made available annually through gifts from various donors. Ordinarily one student is selected from each program, with each award valued at $1,000.
There is no separate application. Awards are made on the recommendation of the Faculty of Land and Food Systems in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.
