About this scholarship

Graduate students (M.S. or Ph.D.) conducting a research project in aquatic entomology may be nominated for the LaFontaine Aquatic Entomology Scholarship through Fly Fishers International.

Dollar amounts vary by year.

Each nomination should include a resume, a short project synopsis, and a letter of recommendation from the faculty advisor. Nominations go to the VP of Education and the Education Committee for recommendation to the FFI Foundation, typically with an April 1 deadline.

FFI's mission includes conservation, education, and growing the fly-fishing community.
