Ladybird Team Culture Award in Women’s Swimming

For members of the UBC Vancouver women's swimming team who are not receiving Swimming Canada Athlete Assistance Program funding and who demonstrate financial need. Preference goes to athletes who promote positive team culture.

One or more awards are offered, each worth at least $500 and up to athletic association maximums. Subject to continued good academic standing and athletic performance, awards may be renewed for up to two additional years. Selection is by the swimming head coach and the Athletics Awards Committee. No separate application is required.

The Gunther family endowed this award; several family members swam for UBC.
