Kit Memorial Scholarship

Female McMaster University undergraduate students in year 2 or beyond in Honours English (Faculty of Humanities) who demonstrate journalistic ability in course work may be considered.

One scholarship of $200 is awarded. No separate application is required beyond standard university award processes. Established in 1936 by the Hamilton Branch of the Media Club of Canada (formerly the Canadian Women's Press Club) in memory of journalist Kathleen Blake Coleman, known as Kit.
