About this scholarship
Graduate students pursuing an M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Food Science in the UBC Faculty of Land and Food Systems may be considered for this award. Candidates should focus on food safety, extended shelf life of produce, or produce and human health, and will be selected based on academic excellence plus community service, leadership, or volunteerism.
The award is $2,400, endowed by Kin's Farm Market. It is made on the recommendation of the Faculty of Land and Food Systems in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.
