An outstanding third- or fourth-year female student in the UBC Vancouver Bachelor of Science in Nursing program may be considered.
A $2,000 scholarship is provided annually through a fund at the Vancouver Foundation established by Myrtle Lorena Kievell (1903-1989) in memory of her parents and brother.
Recipients are selected on the recommendation of the School of Nursing. There is no separate student application.
It is hoped that recipients will spend time in an area where medical help is needed in Canada or elsewhere.
