Outstanding third- or fourth-year female students in the Faculty of Medicine at UBC Vancouver are eligible for this scholarship.
The scholarship is $2,000, made available annually through a Vancouver Foundation fund established by Myrtle Lorena Kievell (1903-1989) in memory of her parents and brother. Recipients are encouraged to spend time in an area where medical help is needed, in Canada or elsewhere.
The Faculty of Medicine recommends recipients. No separate application is required.
