About this scholarship
Virginia residents age 26 or younger who are U.S. citizens, demonstrate financial need, and are dependents of a worker killed, seriously injured, or debilitated in a work-related incident may apply for Kids' Chance of Virginia scholarships. Full-time and part-time students at colleges, universities, or technical schools may apply.
Most awards are up to $7,000 per year for four-year undergraduate or graduate programs and up to $5,500 per year for trade or two-year programs. Scholarships are renewable annually. Submit the application with a transcript, FAFSA Student Aid Report, injury documentation, and a brief career goals statement.
