About this scholarship
Kentucky residents who demonstrate financial need and enroll at least half-time in an eligible Kentucky college program of at least two years in length may receive the College Access Program (CAP) Grant. Eligible schools include public and private colleges and universities, proprietary schools, and technical colleges.
Awards pay up to $5,300 per year, depending on institution type and available funding. The number of awards varies; funding is first-come, first-served.
Students who file the FAFSA are entered into consideration. No separate CAP application is described beyond the FAFSA and enrollment at an eligible school.
