About this scholarship

Children of active Allegheny County Bar Association members who practice principally in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, and who plan to attend Yale University or the successor schools of the University of Paris may apply for undergraduate or graduate study support.

Award amounts vary.

Submit the scholarship application at the same time as the admission application to Yale or the University of Paris schools. Contact the institutional trust officer listed by the Allegheny County Bar Foundation for details.

The fund was established by the will of Kennedy T. Friend, a member of the Allegheny County Bar.
