Kennedy Scholars Academic Excellence Scholarship (Outside of Calgary)

For international students entering first year of an undergraduate degree at the University of Calgary who meet the English language requirement and pay international tuition. Selection is based on academic merit. Two scholarships of $20,000 are offered annually. The award is renewable through years two to four with a 2.60 GPA over at least 24 units and continued international-student status. For an undergraduate student entering first year in the University of Calgary Faculty of Science majoring in Computer Science. Applicants must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents with a permanent home address within 100 kilometres of Calgary city centre. Selection considers exceptional academic merit and promise, entrepreneurial thinking, innovation or technology development, and leadership qualities. One scholarship of $15,000 is offered annually and is renewable in second, third, and fourth year at $15,000 if the student remains enrolled in the Faculty of Science Computer Science program and achieves a minimum GPA of 3.20 over a minimum of 30.00 units in the previous fall and winter terms. For an international student entering first year in any University of Calgary undergraduate degree program who graduated from a high school within the Calgary Catholic School District (CCSD). Selection is based on academic merit. Two scholarships of $20,000 each are offered annually. Apply through the My UCalgary Portal High School Prestige Awards competition. Funded by the University of Calgary.

Canadian citizens or permanent residents entering the University of Calgary Haskayne School of Business Bachelor of Commerce program may be considered. Selection recognizes exceptional academic merit and promise, plus contribution to school or community life with demonstrated leadership. One scholarship of $25,000 is offered annually and is renewable in years two through four if you maintain a minimum 3.20 GPA over at least 30.00 units in the previous fall and winter terms.
