Kennedy Scholars Academic Excellence Scholarship (Outside of Calgary)

For a first-year University of Calgary Faculty of Science undergraduate majoring in Computer Science whose permanent home address and graduating high school are at least 100 kilometres outside Calgary city centre. One renewable $25,000 scholarship is offered annually. Selection requires exceptional academic merit and promise, demonstrated commitment to entrepreneurial thinking, innovation or technology development, and leadership, plus Canadian citizenship or permanent residency. Renewal in years two through four requires continued Computer Science enrolment and a minimum 3.20 GPA over at least 30.00 units in the prior fall and winter terms.
