Kenji Ogawa Memorial Prize in Japanese

Undergraduate and graduate students at UBC Vancouver demonstrating outstanding achievement in the study of Japanese language are eligible for this prize. The $200 prize is awarded on the recommendation of the Head of the Department of Asian Studies; there is no separate application.

The prize was endowed by the students, friends and relatives of Mr. Kenji Ogawa, a highly admired and inspiring teacher of Japanese in the Department of Asian Studies from 1963 to 1970.
