About this scholarship

Outstanding UBC Vancouver varsity student-athletes in any year of study may be considered, with preference for members of the varsity basketball, soccer, or golf teams.

One or more awards are granted, each ranging from a minimum of $500 to the maximum allowed under athletic association guidelines. Recipients should demonstrate excellent leadership and maintain good academic standing.

There is no separate application. Awards are made on the recommendation of the President's Athletic Awards Committee.

The awards are offered in recognition of Ken Woods' passion for sport.
