About this scholarship

Graduate fellows in architecture, art, dance, landscape architecture, music, theatre, or urban and regional planning at UIUC or equivalent institutions may apply for the Kate Neal Kinley Memorial Fellowship. Preference goes to applicants under age 25.

Up to six fellowships are awarded: one up to $20,000 and two under $20,000 as major awards, plus up to three smaller awards. Fellowships support travel and advanced study expenses, not tuition.

Submit the application with all required supplementary materials as outlined on the UIUC website. Recipients may not work as UIUC faculty while receiving the award.

Founded in 1931, this fellowship honors Kate Neal Kinley, an influential music and arts student at the University of Illinois.
