About this scholarship
International undergraduate students entering UBC Okanagan directly from secondary school or a post-secondary institution who demonstrate significant financial need, superior academic achievement, and leadership may be considered for the Karen McKellin International Leader of Tomorrow Award through UBC's International Scholars Program.
Award value depends on demonstrated financial need and may cover the full cost of the student's program and living costs. Awards renew for up to three additional years of undergraduate study or to degree completion, whichever is less, provided the recipient stands in the top quartile of their program and maintains study authorization in Canada.
Consideration is restricted to students nominated by the educational institution they are attending. Award winners have academic progress and financial need reviewed annually.
