Karen Elaine Florence Madsen Memorial Scholarship

A student entering the final year of the B.S.N. program at UBC Vancouver who has shown outstanding personal qualities, high academic achievement, and dedication to the nursing profession may be nominated.

The award is a $9,200 scholarship endowed by Mr. and Mrs. E. Madsen in memory of their daughter Karen Elaine Florence Madsen (B.S.N. 1976), who graduated from UBC in May 1976 and passed away in October 1977. Selection is made by Enrolment Services on the recommendation of the School of Nursing. There is no separate student application.
