About this scholarship
The Kansas Shocker Promise Scholarship is a last-dollar award covering remaining tuition and required course fees up to 15 credit hours per semester for eight fall and spring terms for eligible Kansas residents. Incoming first-time freshmen must be Pell Grant eligible, have family income and assets of $60,000 or less, an SAI of 7,395 or less, and a minimum 2.5 unweighted GPA. Students apply by being admitted by March 1 and completing the FAFSA by April 1. Non-Sedgwick County Kansas residents living on campus their first year may also receive up to $6,000 toward housing. Recipients must enroll full time and participate in student success programming.
