U.S. residents age 18 or older in good academic standing at a U.S. college, university, graduate school, law school, or trade school may apply for Teague Law's $2,500 Justice in Rural Communities Scholarship. The 2027 application requires an original, student-authored essay of no more than 1,000 words on challenges facing rural justice systems and recommendations for improving access. The PDF must include a catchy title, citations and bibliography as appropriate, plus the applicant's name, student ID, institution, and financial-aid office contact details. Applicants must also upload an unofficial transcript and proof of enrollment or acceptance.
