About this scholarship
Female graduating high school seniors in Wayne County, Michigan with a minimum 3.25 GPA who demonstrate volunteerism and plan to attend college or vocational school may apply for Junior League of Detroit community scholarships.
Up to ten $1,000 awards are paid directly to the student's college each year.
Submit the application, an essay, a transcript, and two letters of recommendation from non-family members. Include details on extracurricular activities, community service, and work experience.
