About this scholarship
University of Waterloo outstanding students entering Year One may receive this scholarship, with preference for Canadian citizens or permanent residents who attended an eligible secondary school in the Region of Waterloo. $4,000 is payable in Year One and $2,000 in Year Two if an 80% overall average is maintained.
The scholarship honours the Lang family, which operated a major Waterloo Region business for 130 years.
