Joseph David Stringer Memorial Scholarship

For a UBC Faculty of Medicine student with a good academic record who shows ability and promise for research in medical fields. Financial need may be considered.

The scholarship is $300, endowed as a memorial to Joseph David Stringer by his parents Robin and Elizabeth Stringer, family, and friends. Donors hope future study may include research into the cause and prevention of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.

There is no separate application. The Faculty of Medicine selects the recipient on recommendation.
