About this scholarship
The Johnson Scholars Award is Santa Clara University's most comprehensive merit scholarship for first-year undergraduates demonstrating exceptional academic ability, motivation, and leadership potential. Scholars receive full tuition during the academic year, renewable up to four years, and the university commits to meeting demonstrated financial need for room, board, books, and other costs after FAFSA and CSS Profile submission. Early Action and Early Decision I applicants must also apply to the University Honors Program to be considered. Scholars maintain a 3.5 GPA, participate in honors programming, and may apply for up to ten thousand dollars in professional development funds after the first year.
