About this scholarship
Endowed scholarship recognizing microbiology students in the School of Life Sciences, established by Professor Jean M. Schmidt in honor of her father. Two awards of $2,000 each ($1,000 fall and $1,000 spring) are made annually to full-time juniors who are microbiology majors with at least a 2.5 GPA. Applicants must not graduate the spring of application. Submit the SOLS undergraduate scholarship application, resume, personal statement, unofficial transcript, and faculty recommendation through the School's web form.
