About this scholarship
UBC students with exceptional research aptitude who intend to pursue, or are already pursuing, approved investigation in British Columbia history may qualify. The prize is $300. It is normally awarded to a fourth-year student or a graduate proceeding to a higher degree, but may go to a third-year student.
The award is made on the recommendation of the Department of History. It is endowed from the estate of Mrs. Thomas A. Kirk.
