Undergraduate or graduate students studying viola in the School of Music at UBC Vancouver are eligible for this scholarship.
The scholarship is $2,000, endowed by Jocelyn Noel (BEd '70, DipArtHis '02). Noel dedicated her life to music as a soloist, chamber musician, and West Coast Symphony member for more than 20 years, and helped found the first orchestra at UBC in 1944.
The School of Music recommends recipients, with Graduate Studies consulted for graduate students. No separate application is required.
