About this scholarship
Students enrolled in the B.S.N. program at the UBC Vancouver School of Nursing who have completed a minimum of 21 credits may be nominated. Financial need is a consideration in selecting recipients.
The award is a $1,150 scholarship endowed by family, friends, and colleagues of the late Jessie MacCarthy to recognize her leadership in community health nursing, epidemiology, nursing education, and research. Recipients are chosen on the recommendation of the School of Nursing. There is no separate student application.
