About this scholarship
Ph.D. and M.B.A. candidates demonstrating outstanding achievement and leadership promise may be nominated for Jefferson Fellowships at UVA's Darden School of Business, Graduate School of Arts & Sciences, and School of Engineering. Students cannot apply directly; departments or schools nominate candidates.
Award amounts vary by school. Engineering awards include $5,000 in year one plus a departmental package; Darden and GSAS have distinct stipend structures.
