University of Toronto students entering first year of Materials Engineering in the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering may receive this scholarship on the basis of financial need, academic achievement, and demonstrated leadership through school and community involvement. If no suitable admissions candidate is found, the award may go to a student completing Year 1 of Materials Engineering on the same criteria.
