Alberta residents who are Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or protected persons, enrolled full-time in the second or subsequent year of an undergraduate or professional program at an eligible publicly funded Alberta post-secondary institution, may be nominated. Applicants need a minimum 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale based on an 80% full course load in the previous fall and winter terms. Visa students and one-year certificate programs are not eligible. Recipients cannot also hold a Louise McKinney Scholarship for the same period.
Each award is $1,000, with a lifetime maximum of three Jason Lang Scholarships. Submit your application to the Student Awards Office at your institution for nomination; contact your school for deadlines.
