Jason Herron Memorial Award

University of New Brunswick Fredericton students in good academic standing who have completed at least 90 credit hours in the Bachelor of Forest Engineering or Bachelor of Forestry program may be nominated for this prize. Recipients must demonstrate professionalism, commitment to fellow students, and academic leadership.

The minimum award value is $1,500. Nominations from students, staff, and faculty are received by the Faculty Scholarship committee.

Funded by family, friends, and colleagues of Jason Herron, Forest Manager for Georgia-Pacific in New Brunswick and a UNB lecturer from 2000 to 2003.
