Janet and Horace Allen Scholarship

Alberta residents who are Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or protected persons, enrolled full-time in a post-secondary program, and who graduated from an Alberta high school in the current academic year may apply. Preference goes to graduates of Crowsnest Consolidated High School. Visa students are not eligible.

One scholarship of $1,500 is awarded. Selection is based on academic excellence from final standings in two of Biology 30, Chemistry 30, Physics 30, or Science 30 on an official Alberta high school transcript. In a tie, Diploma Examination marks for the qualifying courses decide the winner.

Apply to Alberta Student Aid between August 1 and October 31. The award was established by the family of Janet and Horace Allen through the Alberta Heritage Scholarship Fund Endowment program.
