Jane Heckman Memorial Scholarship in Choral Singing

For an outstanding continuing student in the UBC School of Music who demonstrates exceptional aptitude for and commitment to choral singing in the School's choral ensembles. Financial need may be considered. Graduate students may be eligible in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.

A $2,800 scholarship from an endowment established by Dr. Nancy Heckman.

Made on the recommendation of the School of Music.

Established to honour the memory of Jane Heckman, who studied voice at Juilliard and was soprano soloist at the First United Methodist Church of Germantown.
