Jane Coop Scholarship in Piano

Undergraduate or graduate students majoring in piano performance at the UBC Vancouver School of Music may be nominated for this scholarship.

The award is a $4,100 scholarship. Recipients are chosen on the recommendation of the School of Music; for graduate students, the Faculty of Graduate Studies is consulted. There is no separate student application.

The scholarship was endowed in honour of Professor Emerita Jane Coop, Distinguished University Scholar and internationally acclaimed pianist. During 32 years of performing and teaching at the School of Music, she built a lasting legacy through her students, colleagues, and public performances.
